In this case study we will walk you through a recent BA to BF rear end bush replacement we did on a Ford Falcon. Click the images for the full size versions.

The various parts involved in this work include: Rear diff mount, bump stops, lower control arm, upper control arm, trailing arm lower, cradle, hub & wheel bearing, toe blad adjuster or lateral arm, rear drive shaft, knuckle (all pictured above).

The rear cradle assembly with arms attached has been removed from the vehicle, arms then removed from the cradle ready to had the old bushes pressed out and the new ones pressed in.

The cradle is cleaned and prepared for the reattachment of arms etc

All the arms now have the new bushes pressed in and are ready to be reattached to the cradle or vehicle.

This is where the rear end assembly sits in the vehicle, the old shocks are still attached, the exhaust goes over the rear end assembly.
